Enjoy a Frozen Ice Palace experience at The Mall at University Town Center. The palace will feature characters from the Disney Movie, Frozen, and art of Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven. Interactive globes will showcase scenes from the film, and pictures with Santa will also be available.

This November 14th-18th, twenty-four of the premier master sand sculptors from all over the world will be competing for 1st place on the #1 beach. This event was named as a finalist in Sarasota Magazine’s Best of 2014 and for good reason. The five-day art event will include: Master sand sculptors competing, all day viewing Friday through Tuesday; over 50 vendors Friday through Monday; live entertainment through Sunday starting Friday at noon; and an amateur sand sculptor contest on Saturday.

Sarasota Chalk Festival founder Denise Kowal, confirms acceptance to compete for a Guinness Book World Record by creating the largest anamorphic (3D) pavement art during the 2014 Sarasota Chalk Festival at its new location after six successful seasons in Sarasota. Julie Kirk, renowned artist and author of “Sidewalk Canvas: Chalk Pavement Art at Your Feet”, the first book published about street painting as an art form, will lead the team to create the largest underwater scene of extinct and endangered species during the 2014 Sarasota Chalk Festival. The Guinness Book 3D installation will take place at the Venice Municipal Airport Festival Grounds. It will open to the public on November 14, when visitors will have the opportunity to enter the painting and have their photo taken as a part of the scene between Nov. 14-17.
